Gruesome Addiction to Beauty Injection

petmir

Her name is Han Mi Ok, a Korean celebrity who became known as “Fan Lady” after her disastrous cosmetic surgery. She underwent 15 reconstructive surgery to overhaul her “I-don’t-think-it-can-be-fix” plastic surgery damage. She apparently became obsessed addicted to plastic surgery and couldn’t get enough of the “faux-fect face” ( I made the word up) so she went to quacks just to indulge herself. She even personally performed a facial injection at home. The result…. well you can see it.

She used to look like this before the cosmetic surgery disaster:

And this is how she looks now after the overhaul:

On the photos above, Han Mi Ok was at the shooting of of 500th episode of Shocking Stories of the World.
I admire her courage to display her damaged face in public and let people see how ungodly  it is to distort ones appearance. I am not totally against plastic surgery but I am also not for it.
She should serve as a lesson to anyone who dreamed of having a “faux-fect face”. Think twice before you get cut up and think thrice before you inject yourself with human byproducts.

Fashion Spotlight: Michelle Obama

petmir
Today i was just trying to think of how people dress up in our world now adays, how fashion is a biiig deal! I saw Michelle Obama on one of celebrity websites i  usually check  and thought Woow this is it! -exactly what i was looking for! :))

Major American Designers Want Michelle Obama To Start Wearing Their Clothes! Isnt she beautiful! Woow i love her clothes! Michelle Obama was recently named one of the best-dressed women in the world. What can i say? The lady can dress!

From the moment she stepped out in Jason Wu's flouncy, one-shouldered gown at the Inaugural Ball, Michelle Obama made her stance on fashion clear: unexpected, fearless, and utterly chic.
When Stevie Wonder was honored by the White House, the First Lady slipped into a high-waisted green frock by Wonder's wife, Kai Milla. Not only was it a perfect choice color-wise, but it proved that Obama understands shape and proportion — it was a very flattering silhouette for her athletic build.

Oscar de la Renta has dressed First Ladies through several administrations (everyone from Jackie Kennedy on), so it's only fitting that his son, Moises, carry on the tradition. Michelle Obama, famously a champion of young American designers, donned his striking cherry red MDLR dress — flaunting those famous arms — for a White House event over the summer.

Warning – High Heels Can Kill! hihihiih loool

petmir

And I don’t necessarily mean the wearer either. Potential crime report: –
Victim: Male, Caucasian
Death: Instantaneous, Penetration of the Arterial Chamber
Description of Murder Weapon: Sharp Instrument, 4”
Type: Stiletto
Colour: Red
Maker: Mahlono Blahnik
Motive: Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned

So guys, the next time you’re ogling the sexy long legs of a sweet young thing, remember the shoes on her feet can double as weapons. And if she doesn’t like the attention, it could be your eyeballs that get it.
Or worse. For the guys who are foolish enough to actually stare at girls with their partners around, be warned. Your girlfriend or wife may just be creeping up behind you. And you won’t hear her coming… she’s taken off her high heels, you see.

Lisa Rinna Without Makeup!!! ;(((

petmir

We may have bashed Lisa Rinna for going overboard on plastic surgery before, but today we’re sending her props for going without makeup for her friends and fans on Twitter. In the photo’s caption, she boasts: “Hey at least I’m brave enough to show myself without make up!! Here I am no make up not an ounce!”
Until we become gutsy enough to post our own barefaced twit pics, we’ll kindly keep mum about Rinna’s beauty habits. Are you willing to go without makeup in public, or do you insist on foundation and blush before you walk out the door? Tell us about your beauty habits in the comments section, below:

Lisa Rinna

“I saw a picture of myself and thought, ‘Uh-oh.’” The 47-year-old actress told In Touch Magazine in 2008. “You have to be careful. I’m a perfect example of that! There are many things you can do to make yourself look better.”

Nicole Kidman

She’s denied all rumors of Botox and lip-fillers, but several experts confirm that the actress and mom has had work done.

Courteney Cox

“I don’t think anything’s wrong with plastic surgery,” Cox told InStyle. But she also added, “I don’t understand when people change drastically.”

Susan Sarandon

“I’m an advocate of women doing whatever they want to do for themselves,” the actress told OK! magazine. “Women should have control over their bodies to do whatever they want to do. Some people have better taste than others, and some people get crazy about it.”

Sharon Stone

When More magazine asked the actress why she got lip injections, she responded: “Nobody loves me. I’m 103. My life would be better if I had better lips.”

Janice Dickinson

The former supermodel and judge on America’s Next Top Model is also the author of Everything About Me is Fake, And I’m Perfect. We applaud her attitude, but we also suspect she could look good even if everything about her wasn’t fake.

Sarah Jessica Parker

“If you do it, you’re strung up in the town square. If you don’t do it, they tell you you look old,” the actress has said of how she feels about getting surgery.

Demi Moore

Though she’s sick of everyone debating over whether she’s spent money on surgery, the eternally youthful actress told British Elle magazine: “I’ve had something done but it’s not my face.”

Cindy Crawford

The supermodel told GQ magazine: “There’s a doctor in London who I’ve gone to for Botox. I did a whole skincare line with him. But I haven’t done collagen, I don’t think [...] Because people have such expectations of what they are going to find when they see me, that brings added pressure to fight the aging process, but don’t get me wrong. I think I’m holding together pretty good.”

Kylie Minogue

‘I’ve tried Botox, I’ve tried them all,’ the singer admitted to UK’s Elle magazine. “I’m definitely not one of those people who says, ‘You shouldn’t do this.’”

Food to make u happy ( not fat) this winter!!

The grains, leafy greens, and fruits in this winter CSA basket are a healthy way to stay happy this winter.

Cold, grey weather and a growing sense of cabin fever is easily forgotten when you have a hearty meal to dive into, or a comforting plate of brownies to snack on when you’re feeling restless and bored. But the end result is a lot of ill-fitting spring clothes, in exchange for the short-lived happiness brought on by fatty, sugary foods. That’s why we were thrilled to find The kitchns’s food tips to make us happy, not fat, this winter:
1. Citrus - Flavorful and full of vitamins and antioxidants that your body needs, citrus helps brighten winter days without adding unhealthy sugars or fats to your diet.
2. Tea - While coffee might seem like the only way to wake up when it’s this dark outside, but try teas with a lower dose of caffeine, instead. And if it’s comfort you’re after, try sipping on soothing herbal varieties to stay warm and relaxed until Spring.
3. Grains - Macaroni and cheese might give you a flash of carbohydrate-induced bliss, but whole grains will keep you going far longer, and do far better things for your body than white, processed wheat.
4. Chocolate - We’d be insane to tell you not to eat chocolate in the winter, but seek out artisinal chocolates with interesting flavors, or dark chocolate hot cocoa blends, so that you can conquer your cravings with just a little, not a whole bar.
5. Leafy Greens - These are essential any time of the year, but did you know that a lot of dark, leafy greens like spinach and kale actually grow quite well in the winter? Because they’re growing with a bit less sun, they can actually be sweeter this time of year. And they’ll still be packed with all the nutrients to keep you healthy, happy, and glowing as if it’s Spring.
6. Vegetable Soup - Apartment Therapy suggests making vegetarian pho, but we dig most varieties of soup this time of year. Just try not to down a cup of chowder with lunch every day; creamy, meaty soups are more likely to make you fat than happy, in the long run.
7. Sweet Potatoes - This in-season root vegetable are one of the most versatile thing you can stock in your kitchen; you can microwave them and top with butter and cinnamon for a tasty breakfast, or top with salt and pepper for a delicious savory snack or dinner side. They’re also packed with nutrients that you’ll never get from a russet or fingerling.
The Kitchn’s Leela Cyd Ross also suggests eating foods that remind you of your childhood, setting a ritual weekly meal with your family or friends, and setting out on a “food quest” (like finding the perfect veggie burger, or learning how to make a great homemade pasta sauce) to keep yourself happy about food through the winter.
Do you have any favorite winter comfort foods? Tell us what you do to get through the dark, cold season.

Lifesize cake, anyone?

petmir

lifesize-wedding-cake.jpg

I know people want to do unique and unusual things at their weddings to make them enjoyable and memorable to the couple and their guests but this, this goes to my book of weird stuff! I am not sure if I am comfortable slicing our wedding cake if it’s lifesize replica of myself. It just seems….weird!
It was a childhood dream for Chidi Ogbuta.
Chidi says “growing up in Nigeria I always wanted a doll to made in my likeness, that didn’t happen so I got the cake.”
But who could make a cake that was 5 feet 4 inches tall?

Cake decorator Nikki Jackson says “she said she wanted a to recreate her in cake, I dodged her calls for a while, I didn’t think i was up for the challenge.”
But Chidi persisted.
Chidi said “I said I know you can, don’t tell me no.”
So she started on cake while a sculptor from Austin created the head.
This is where the magic happened, Nikki was in here for 20 hours a day for two weeks to finish the cake.
That was the easy part, the hard part was getting it out the door.
Nikki says “we had to take the door frame off to get her out.”
But it was a masterpiece from sculpted clay head to toe.
Chidi says “I was like oh my God! I felt my dream had come true!”
Guests had to do a double take when they saw the cake.
The groom says “they were hilarious, they’re eyes were popping out of their heads. They had cameras, cell phones and they were calling people.”
So, was cutting the cake a little weird?
Chidi says “we felt it was just a cake but my little girl was like Mommy are they going to cut you?”
Chidi and her husband never thought their wedding cake would get this much attention.
Looooooooool!!!

Homeless man with 'golden voice' given second chance

A US homeless man with a "golden voice" has been given a second chance after being discovered by a reporter in Ohio who put a video of him on YouTube.
A former radio announcer, Ted Williams, 53, had fallen on hard times, but - following an appearance on YouTube - has now got work doing voiceovers.
The video has attracted more than eight million hits so far, reports say.
Mr Williams has travelled to his home city of New York to visit his mother for the first time in 20 years.
"I feel like Susan Boyle. Or Justin Bieber," he told the Columbus Dispatch newspaper, who discovered him, on Wednesday.
"It's almost choking me."
Before being discovered, he was a beggar during the day, holding up a cardboard sign, and slept in a makeshift tent behind an abandoned petrol station at night.
Mr Williams, who has been homeless for 10 years, says he has been sober for two years following drug and alcohol addictions.
He says he began drinking and using drugs in the 1990s and lost interest in his radio career, before ending up on the streets and becoming estranged from his family and children.
He is now reported to have been offered full-time announcing work and living expenses by basketball team the Cleveland Cavaliers.
